Teash Taylor (she/her)

Teash is a Baptist Pastor, student and activist.Teash's undergraduate degree was in gender studies and anthropology and she has only a couple of subjects to complete before receiving her Master of Divinity. Her Masters thesis focussed on reading Romans 1:24-27 with a queer feminist lens.

Teash has been involved in queer christian community and activism for several years. She also sits on the LGBTQA+ Conversion Ideology and Practice Research steering committee funded by the Victorian Government and Australian Research Council.

Teash identifies as a cis-woman and a lesbian (although the terms gay and queer are also fine). Teash loves house plants, pastoring her beautiful church and her elderly rescue greyhound Dot.

AJ Jensen (they/them)

AJ is a non-binary queer person, which for them means that they see their gendered experience as outside of and encompassing gender binaries. They are a social worker and member of the Uniting Church of Australia. They are passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ and Church communities to work together in addressing and healing spiritual trauma. 

AJ has worked as a pastor in the Uniting Church, has presented at several theological conferences alongside Teash, and provided consultation and advocacy for the LGBTQIA+ community in Uniting Church and echumenical spaces. 

AJ currently works at a queer health organisation in Lismore on Bundjalung country northern NSW, and lives with their partner and puppy Nimbus.
